For Microsoft Ignite Chicago, The Revel Group partnered with Dynamic Events to transform Navy Pier into an immersive Chicago-inspired closing celebration packed with interactive environments, custom fabrication, live entertainment, and elevated hospitality experiences.
Inspired by Chicago’s iconic “L” system, guests explored neighborhood-themed activations throughout the venue without ever leaving the pier.
Attendees hopped between neighborhood-inspired activations, each designed to feel like its own stop along the line:
Off the Red Line | Guests stepped up to custom-built Cubs and Sox batting + pitching cages where they tested speed, accuracy, and hometown loyalty.
Off the Blue Line | A retro gaming paradise featuring classic arcade favorites like Pac-Man, pinball, and Space Invaders alongside curated Xbox lounge experiences.
Off the Brown Line | A fully designed Chicago dive bar environment complete with pool tables, local flavor, and a live performance from Chicago’s own Melvin Taylor.
Off the Orange Line | Street-art energy came to life with interactive digital graffiti walls, custom food truck catering moments, and hands-on creative activations.
And anchoring the entire experience? A DJ pop-up in the park-inspired central hub because in our world, it’s always summer in Chicago.
From experiential event design and scenic fabrication to catering integration and branded environments, every detail was designed to create a high-energy guest experience that celebrated the spirit of Chicago at scale.
